Lucky Food Town yesterday launched its Lucky Card, as a way to thank their loyal customers for their continuous support.
Assistant Manager, Auree Westerlund, was on hand to explain the new card.
“Our lucky card programme is a way of giving back to all our local customers who do their shopping here and we want to thank them by giving them this discount,” she said. “It is a great opportunity for us to help everyone.”
According to Ms. Westerlund, the lucky card will automatically give customers a discount every time they shop at the store.
“Everyone that comes to shop here gets a discount only if the card is present,” she said. “The amount of discount however will depend on the products offered”.

The idea, according to Ms. Westerlund, is to help customers save money.
“The more you spend, the more discounts you will receive, and the more you will save,” she said. “It’s free!
All you have to do is sign up”. Marie Senio, the Floor Manager, says regular customers will benefit a lot from the card.
“This card will help people save their money,” she said.
“At the end of the month, people will be able to save enough just by using this card.
“People will get a discount every time they come shop here, that is if they have a lucky card with them.”
If the card is lost, the customer will have to pay $10. Ms. Westerlund said the store took two months to install the card and make sure everything was in order.
Yesterday, she invited all their loyal customers to sign up.
